We are a lovely family living in Wimbledon SW19, and are looking for a new nanny from December as our current nanny returns home to South Africa. I'll also be going back to work around this time.

We want someone who is positive, energetic, proactive, kind (but firm when needed) and fun loving. We have 2 girls aged 5yrs (at school 8.45 - 3.15pm) and 4yrs (at nursery 9.30 - 12.30) and a baby boy, 5 months. We therefore need someone who is great with babies but who is also interested in helping our older daughter with her reading and homework, and our younger daughter with drawing, writing and reading etc. They all have different needs, but are equally gorgeous!

This is a full time and permanent post, sole care except on a Friday when I won't be at work so will be around and about.

Hours will be from 7:45am to 6.45pm Monday to Friday, but we need some flexibility to start a little earlier on occasion. Also, as I won't be working on Fridays, we would like to swap a half day on Friday for an evening's babysitting sometimes.

Duties include:
* Dealing with the morning rush - getting the children breakfasted, dressed, teeth brushed etc, preparing packed lunches for the girls and getting all 3 out of the house by 8.30ish.
* Looking after our baby boy all day and taking him for some fun activities (swimming, music etc).
* Collecting our younger daughter from nursery (12.30pm) and our older daughter from school (3.15pm) and either taking them to after school clubs (gym and ballet) or looking after them in the afternoon. This will include organising play dates for them, reading to/with them and helping them with school work.
* Helping the girls with their love of all creative activities, particularly drawing/colouring!
* Preparing healthy evening tea for the girls. We want them to have a healthy and varied diet, and to try new foods and flavours. Our son is now starting solids, so you will also need to prepare (different) food for him.
* Keeping the children's bedrooms and toy/kitchen/lounge area organised and tidy (we have a cleaner). We love coming home to a tidy house when possible (and generally leave it in good order in the morning)!
* Washing and ironing for the children

Your Essential Requirements (and please please do not apply if you don't meet ALL of these!):
* at least 2 years' experience as a nanny with 2 or more children
* experience with babies as well as with school age children
* genuine love of children
* flexible, reliable and punctual
* very organised
* fluent written and spoken English
* live locally to Wimbledon
* non-smoker
* good checkable references
* current CRB check and first aid certificate
* able to commit for at least 1 year (with any relevant work permit in place). It's too disruptive on our children if not.
* clean driving licence (as you'll need to drive a couple of times a week to after school clubs)
* can start by 1 December
