Joint Commissioning Manager
A Risk Manager is currently required within a Local Authority to support and develop their risk management framework.
Working within the context of good corporate governance, you'll ensure that all risk management practice is sound and assists the council with meeting its objectives. The goal of this forward thinking organisation is to achieve the highest rating for risk management under the future CAA framework and any future external monitoring process. Your post will contribute to effective working relationships both with internal and external audit, embedding risk management initiatives and improving service.
The successful post holder will require:
- A full understanding of best practice for risk management in local authorities
- Solid experience and understanding of operational risk management strategies
- Knowledge of delivery partnerships such as the LSP
