Are you a qualified and experienced Mathematics teacher who is available to work in West London from November until July 2010?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced teacher of Mathematics to join one of London’s best performing schools to cover a maternity leave for the remainder of the academic year. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across the age and ability range of KS3 and KS4. The school teaches the IB (International Baccalaureate) syllabus although previous experience is not essential.
The school runs for students from Kindergarten right through to A level although you will be based at the central site which caters for years 8 – 13. Your teaching timetable will consist mainly of year 8 – 12. As a selective international school you can expect to work with small classes of no more than 20 students and also have the luxury of working with state of the art facilities and resources. The school recently invested heavily in a refurbishment and every class room is fitted with an interactive whiteboard and the e-learning facilities are second to none.
The Mathematics department is a stable, experienced and supportive team with 6 full time and 1 part time teacher. They have a wealth of resources for you to utilise as well as specific ICT suites that are shared by the Maths and Science departments.
