Job Title: Commis Chef
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £5.67 p/h
Location: South East London

Employer Description:
This exciting job is for a luxury hotel with health club in South East London, close to the O2 dome. The hotel has a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge bar that serves food and cocktails.

Job Description:
To assist the senior chef on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items in the busy kitchens, whilst adhering to the health and safety within the kitchen and correct storage of the food produce.

Candidate Profile:
• Must be self-motivated and responsible.
• Knowledge of food and food hygiene.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Customer focused.
• Well presented and has good communication skills

Required Experience:
• Qualified to NVQ level 1.
• Working towards NVQ level 2 or equivalent an advantage.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
