Our company Mazkan, part of Winthorpe group of companies is a leading international physical commodities brokerage house, and due to the worst recession in living memory, we have now taken the step to recruit several physical commodities brokers into our UK based broker pool. This position is only available for a limited time only, and will be subject to specific criteria.

The role is to participate as professional international trade consultants, within specific commodities ranging from agriculture such as sugar, rice, wheat barley, corn, to fuels such as crude oil, and petroleum. You are going to be physically facilitating the actual sale of the items, this is not to be confused with a stock broker whom trades only the value of the goods, we trade the actual goods themselves.

You will be actively dealing with multi million, sometimes multi billion dollar contracts hence we require confident, mature and dedicated individuals who have the drive and passion to earn themselves a substantial income representing and facilitating transactions for Mazkan, within this very competitive arena. We expect candidates to be intuitive, quick-witted and alert.

In line with industry standards salaries will be dependent on age and experience, and we will require to talk to you prior to making any formal offers for salary.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, as is the ability to carry out rapid calculations. In order to be considered for this position, you will need to be ICT certified. If you are currently not ICT certified, contact us for more information. Similarly you will need to be familiar with UCP600 and and have a good undestanding of how international trade facilitation takes place.
