Trainee Recruitment Consultant
The Company
The Resourcing Group is an established and successful recruitment company looking to bring in new members of staff to cope with a growing workload and give you the opportunity to build a sales career within recruitment.
What the role entails
In the first 3-6 months of your employment, you will be responsible for speaking to potential job applicants, inputting their personal data on to the system as well as finding out about their past employment, what sort of jobs they would be interested in and taking employment references. When taking references from employers, you will have the chance to promote the business and explain to them about the services we provide, this will be an essential part of your training before moving into front-line sales. There may also be the opportunity to research backgrounds of applicants and move in to Headhunting for people who show the aptitude to do it.
Other general duties will include taking and dealing with telephone enquiries, chasing candidates CV's and using the in-house recruitment database for a number of functions.
Ability, Experience and qualifications
Previous sales experience would be an advantage
Ideally you will have graduated through university, however, we will consider a school leaver with 1 or 2 years office experience
In order to apply for this job, you MUST have the following;
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent verbal and written use of the English language
* English and Maths GCSE, grade A-C
* You must be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word
* The ability to work hard and be professional at all times.
* Be prepared to make cold calls to clients
* Be target driven and thrive under pressure
* A desire to make money through sales
