Customer Help Desk Technical Support

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and outgoing Heldesk Support Analyst to join a rapidly growing entrepreneurial business in the Voice over Internet telephony sector.

Coms.Com provides VoIP services directly to Personal and Business customers via our www.coms.com and www.coms.net brands.

We have an immediate opportunity for a professional and conscientious individual with a flexible attitude and a broad skill set to join our fast growing Customer Support Team based at our City offices.

Applicants should be self motivated, reliable and have experience of working within a busy support environment. This role represents a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop their existing experience within the Customer Care, Client and Technical Support sector.

Main duties and responsibilities
• First line support for our VoIP Services
• Logging, assigning and resolving calls according to relevant Service Level Agreement.
• Identifying resolving and escalating problems.
• Creating and updating documentation.

Essential skills, abilities and experience
• Experience working on a helpdesk providing First Line support for IT Services, like ISP & VoIP or customised software applications
• An excellent telephone manner.
• Ability to use Support Ticketing systems.
• Ability to identify severity and priority of support requests and act accordingly, escalating and owning through to conclusion.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• The ability to handle a lot of concurrent support requests
• The ability to follow best practice in challenging support situations.
• Desire to learn about a broad range of different technologies.
• Previous experience of working within a telecommunications or similar industry would be advantageous, having gained knowledge and experience of ADSL, VOIP, LAN/WAN networking or traditional telephony.

Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 9.00 am and 6.00 pm to be agreed with line manager.
Holiday Allowance : 4 weeks paid holiday p.a. plus Public Holidays.
Remuneration: £25k
