I need a road bike for a 500 mile charity bike event that I am taking part in during September this year.
I have a hybrid that I have been training on but now that I am covering longer distances it is obvious that I will be holding up the others in the team unless I improve the bike.
Please please please, if any Gumtree folk have a decent road bike that is hanging up unused, I would be really grateful for the loan of the bike for training and the event itself which is from Belfast to London via Dublin.
I’ll insure the bike and will make sure you get it back fully working and serviced after the ride.
I cannot afford to buy a decent road bike, just for this event as I usually only ride into work each day and my hybrid is only 1 year old.
