Deputy Managers Needed In Central And North London
StaffBank Recruitment Ltd specialises in supplying staff to Early Years Sector. We offer work in many different environments including pre-schools, children centres, after school clubs and day nurseries.
Currently we are recruiting for Deputy Managers who are looking for a new exciting opportunity and challenge in nurseries across Central and North London.
The right candidate will have to have:
Minimum Level 3 qualification, preferable Level 4 in childcare
Minimum of 2 years experience from a similar position or from senior position such as Room Leader
Excellent knowledge of EYFS and National Standards with good understanding of guidelines such as Birth to Three Matters and Foundation Stage
Sound organisational skills and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with children, staff, parents and outside agencies
The ability to be positive and professional in dealing with other members of staff, children and parents
The ability to be a flexible, enthusiastic team member who can initiate and lead when required.
A good knowledge of what constitutes a healthy and safe environment for under 5s
Your responsibilities will be:
To assist the Nursery Manager and in their absence to undertake full responsibility for the operation of the setting
To promote the wellbeing of the children attending the nursery and to ensure all childrens needs are recognised, included and met
To take a lead role in planning, monitoring, recording and evaluating EYFS
To support parental involvement in all aspects of the nursery
To ensure a secure and stimulating environment incorporating high standards of care
