Flash Video Designer

A leading production company is currently looking for a dynamic, hard-working, ambitious and above all talented Flash Designer and video editor.

The role requires the creative design, implementation and roll out of Flash web sites under the guidance of the Project Manager, with the ability to design and animate games and websites using Flash CS3 and CS4 and Actionscript 2 and 3.

A secondary function of the role will be video editing and graphics, creating and editing videos for online use, adverts, promos and Broadcast TV. Advanced skills in Final Cut Pro and/or Avid are essential. Expertise in After Effects and Flash animation would be very useful and any experience in 3D packages such as Maya or 3D Studio Max would be a bonus.

Requirements:

· Using Flash CS3 and CS4 for creating websites, to a highly competent level.
· Working closely with developers to create interactive projects, especially games and competitions.
· Creating artwork and characters from provided assets and from scratch with Photoshop, Illustrator and directly in Flash, including animation.
· Using audio and video in Flash.
· Familiarity with creation of digital and rich media (including banners, skyscrapers etc.)
· Basic HTML design and CSS for constructing simple pages and email newsletters.
· At least 3 years agency experience is preferred.
· Proven experience in professional video editing software.
· Creating graphics packages/elements for use in video.

The company’s interests include television, interactive, internet and animation, focusing primarily in pre-school, children’s and youth demographics and are expanding into other demographics. Our digital department creates, designs and produces web content for a range of major children’s and youth focused brands.

Interviews will be taking place from 11th November 2009.

West London/ Ladbroke Grove based.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience.

Start Date: End of November 2009
