We'd had a joke about the heat and our hectic days in the carriage from Holborn tube to Bethnal green. I'd given you the seat and we glanced at each other furtively. I was wearing beige trousers, a black top and sometimes listened to my ipod...

You headed out first but we chatted again in front of the local area map in Bethnal Green station - you needed to head to the south exit, me to the north.
