It’s time to bid farewell to our trusty camper which has just taken us around Europe with not so much as a flat tire. The van is mechanically sound and starts first time, every time. With a team of trusty tradies, we converted ‘Bluey’ into a little home on wheels and we are only the second owner. Prior to us, the van was a fleet vehicle (gas van) so great service history and low mileage. It’s the perfect free camping van as it looks like a work van.

Full service June 2009 including new timing belt, fan belt and front brake pads (£600 spent with all receipts available). Another tyre was purchased for the van as well.

This van has everything you’ll need to get on the road and travel including:

- Three way fridge with freezer compartment that runs off 240v,12v or gas
- Two bench seats/storage boxes with a timber panel that locks between the two to form the comfy double bed. It’s horizontal, so more space for cooking and moving around the van. My boyfriend is over 6 foot and could fit comfortably. The bench seats mean the van can easily carry up to eight people (3 in the front and five in the back) – great for saving money on petrol and tolls.
- Insulated with lovely dark blue carpeted interior throughout
- Radio/CD player, with AV input for your Ipod
- Stoplock pro wheel lock
- Leisure battery
- Electric hook-up, two electrical plug points when using mains electricity. All necessary electrical leads for hooking to power while camping.
- Three interior roof lights with individual switches. Interior lighting runs off Aux battery 1000w Inverter (with remote) - charge laptops/phones etc
- Roof ventilation/whirly bird so air can circulate
- Two hob gas stove cooker and gas bottle
- Stainless steel sink and splashback with two large water containers
- Marble laminex kitchen bench and work area
- Two setting fan situated above the bed
- Laminate (timber look-like) oak flooring
- Kitchen utensils
- Bolted down safe which is big enough to store a laptop, cameras etc
- Crockery/glasses/cutlery
- Pots and pans
- Euro Safety kit
- First aid kit
- Fire extinguisher (assembled in the kitchenette, near the cooker)
- Electric kettle, toaster and blender.
- Brand NEW fishing rod from Decathlon – never used
- Solar shower
- 1 x Kathmandu sleeping bag
- Loads of storage space in bulkhead/cupboards and under boxes
- Range of city maps plus a European road map book

Other things to note:

- Exterior has the standard rust patches on the wheel arches that every transit has.
- The driver’s side door has been replaced with a white door due to a bingle while abroad, However we have taken this into account with the asking price.

We spent over £2,500 on the van and conversion, and unfortunately due to the door replacement and the limited amount of time we have left before heading back to Aus, we have decreased the asking price.
