Location and Transportation

The property is located near the Edirne province Enez (ancient name Ainos) which is very close to the Greece border.
The area is also very well known as the Saros Bay.
It is approx. 250 km's (155 miles) away from Istanbul Ataturk Airport which is the main gateway to Turkey.

The trip from the airport takes approximately 3 hours by car.

General Info

The property is located within a 24 member complex which has a main entrance to access the site.
The complex has got a purpose build accomodation for the dedicated security guard (on site 24x7x365) who is employed by the site administration.

There is a small monthly fee (approx. 30 GBP) to cover costs like employement of security guard, communal gardens, electricity etc.
An on site car park is located left from the main entrance and is only to be used by property owners and guests.
The size of the property is 110 m2.
The property consists of a huge and entireley tiled open plan ground floor with integrated kitchen and living area.
Access to the huge veranda which is located at the opposite side of the main entrance is through the kitchen area.
There is a small and old Turkish style toilet which can also be used as a shower facility, located right from the entrance.
The 1st class woodden interior stairs lead to the 1 st floor where there are two bedrooms and a toilet with shower.

All white goods (Fridge-Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Vacuum Cleaner), sofas and beds are included.
Two Satellite Dishes (90cm diameter each) are installed on the roof and are ready to use.


Beach and Nature
-----------------
The beach is the opposite beach from Gallipolli. Saros Bay is also famous for being self-cleaning. The currents produced three times a year in February, April and July by the cold water on the bottom and the hot water at the surface purify the bay of all the refuse and waste matter discharged into it. Thanks to this natural property, Saros is one of the rare seas that has retained its cleanliness and transparency. Also a very popular area for Scuba Diving.
The distance to the sea is within walking distance (approx. 300 yards). The beatiful sandy beach stretches as far as the eye can see and is open to the public and there are even some beach umbreallas placed for public use.
Nearby is a huge pine forest (very convenient for running and jogging). Hunting is also a famous sports there too.

Utilities
----------
Each property has got its own Electricity meter, which is been read, recorded and billed by the Site Administration.
LPG gas is used in the kitchen, which comes in 12kg containers and is a widely used product in Turkey. One container costs around 20 GBP and lasts approximately 1 month.

Fresh water is supplied free of charge as the water source which is 240 mt deep belongs to the complex.
It can be used to drink, cook, shower etc. in fact the taste is much better than that of all the well known branded bottled waters.
The cleanliness and purity of the water is approved by the Istanbul Health Organisation.
Every year samples of water are send to reconfirm.


Shopping and Facilities
------------------------
Nearby there is a butcher, supermarket, Cafeteria, Internet Cafe and a huge Bar.
Fresh groceries are also available on a daily basis by local farmers brougt in from the fields nearby.
