Unique opportunity for paralegals seeking a business role
We are a young, entrepreneurial company based in the city of London that has developed an IT solution for banks, insurance companies, law firms and corporates capable of automatically drafting documents for financing transactions. We recently signed several new clients and are looking to expand our team.
We are currently looking to fill two roles:
Role 1 - Sales. We are looking for a salesperson with a background in debt capital markets/finance and an outgoing personality. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and deepening our existing client relationships and establishing new ones by making cold calls, working with management and external sales partners to arrange pitch meetings, accompanying management to demonstrations and following up with clients. The role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys making contact with people and building a network of contacts. The ideal candidate will have experience as a paralegal or lawyer at a corporate law firm or the DCM/financing department of a bank and will have a working familiarity with the documents used in DCM/financing transactions. The candidate must speak very good English (native speakers preferred). Fluency in a second European language (e.g., German) would be welcome, but is not required.
Role 2 - Customer service/operations. We are looking for a paralegal with a DCM/finance background and an interest in technological solutions. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining templates for clients' documents using our proprietary document automation system, responding to customer inquiries, maintaining the company's website and generally assisting the founders with managing all aspects of the company. The role is ideal for a candidate who would like to become exposed to all aspects of a startup company. The ideal candidate will have experience as a paralegal or lawyer at a corporate law firm or the DCM/financing department of a bank, a working familiarity with the documents used in DCM/financing transactions and rudimentary exposure to programming languages (e.g., HTML, PHP or BASIC). Very good English is a requirement for the job. Fluency in a second European language (e.g., German) would be welcome, but is not required.
