Jane Austen-related Submissions Wanted
To all Austenites,
Have you ever considered writing a prequel to ‘Sense and Sensibility’? A travel guide to Jane Austen’s world? A modern adaption of ‘Emma’? Mrs Bennet’s Etiquette Book for Girls? A fictionalized account of Austen’s life? A crime thriller set at Northanger Abbey? A humorous spin on the beloved classics? Mr Darcy’s secret diary? Etc.
Prospera Publishing, an independent publishing house in the heart of London, is calling all authors to submit their Jane Austen-related works for consideration. From science fiction to romance, we are open to any suggestions. Your imagination is the limit.
In the first instance, please do send us a covering letter with your contact details, author bio and, most importantly, your proposal outline. Submissions including the three first chapters in PDF format will be prioritized. Remuneration will be discussed at a further stage.
All submissions will be carefully read and considered for publication. Unfortunately, if you do not hear from us within eight weeks we regret to say that your proposal has not been successful.
Please send your submissions to:
yannick@prospera.co.uk
*** Please do note other submissions will also be considered! ***
