Helpdesk Engineer for Managed Service Provider

Current Opportunities
Roles: Support Engineer
Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Helpdesk Manager
Location: Ilford, Essex
Rate: Circa £18,000 to £26,000 (depending on experience) plus holiday, financial & training benefits.

Core Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the experience and skills to support the following job responsibilities.

Technical Support and Incident Management:
• 1st and 2nd line support
• Client communication
• Phone/email/remote support
• Desktop & Server Network administration
• Escalation management
• Ensuring job management protocols are followed
• Ticket completion
• Ensuring deadlines are met

Research, Documentation and Administration:
• Technical design and documentation
• Product and service research

Minimal Requirements:
If you do not FUFILL ALL of the minimal requirements, please do not submit your application as it will not be considered.

• At least 2 years experience in a similar support role
• Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop & Server technologies
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills & team player attitude
• Ability to work in the UK

Beneficial Qualifications:
• MCP(s), MCSE
• CCNA
• Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider
