The Worm established festival band looking 4 bassist synth player ableton wizard
Busy established festival band looking for fourth member.
The Worm - '21st century mali reggae garage' - looking to bulk up low end and drum sounds for a fatter twenty-first century sound. Looking for a live bassist, live synth player or ableton wizard with an interest and specialism in bass music: garage, dubstep, UK funky, dancehall, electro, baile etc and ideally some knowledge/interest in reggae and african music (malian and west african percussion)
We have been together for two years and played nearly 50 shows including Glastonbury, Bestival,Secret Garden Party, Cargo, Hootananny etc etc. Played 17 shows last summer and expecting another busy one in 2010 - suitable candidate should be willing to travel to festivals (own transport good but not essential)
Will become 4th member of a band including: Max Baillie (live violin plucked like ngoni, vocals, calabash, beatbox, vocal bass) Niccie Simpson (vocals), Andre Marmot (cajon, vocals, african congas, djembe)
EPs: Dust of the New (Jan 2008)
Writhing and Wriggling (Jun 2009)
