Senior Practitioner
We are currently seeking a Senior Practitioner to join the Front line Child Protection Team in the East London Area.
Duties and Responsibilities;
1. Undertake complex social work assessments that are purposeful, timely and of high quality
2. Completion of any relevant reports to required quality standard and within timescale
3. Attendance at, and preparation for, any meetings/reviews held in regard to planning for children
4. Ensure all work undertaken is in line with, and as required by, the relevant legislation, guidance or procedures
5. Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping (including electronic databases/client records)
6. Promote good quality practise within the team - providing consultation & supervision to less experienced staff, when required
7. Maintain and promote partnership working with other agencies
8. Facilitate the participation of parents, children & young people
9. To undertake operational responsibilities, as outlined below, in regard to line management within the service, and across Children & Young Peoples Services
10. To work actively with partner agencies
Pay rate from £24 - £29 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
