Field Sales Manager – The Company
Carrier Select are a successful B2B direct field sales company, operating since 2002 and committed to delivering the very best gas, electricity, landline and mobile solutions to its customers from the leading B2B brands in the UK today. After completing a successful pilot scheme we are looking to create a network of 11 offices nationwide, starting with 5 within the M25 to cover Greater London.
As a growing private company we are offering a unique opportunity for an individual with the right personal attributes to develop themselves and progress rapidly to board level with stock options being available after a qualifying period of time.
Field Sales Manager – The Role
The role is to recruit and manage a self generating nationwide sales force of self employed B2B agents selling face to face to businesses with 1-30 employees. You will use your management skills to build and manage teams in order to open new offices. Office managers working under you will receive a basic salary and contract of employment, all other roles will be commission only on a self employed basis. We already have the sites identified and now need a natural leader to recruit, train and motivate the next generation of leaders who will run these offices under your control.
As we are results focussed, and find that the best leaders lead from the front, your time will probably be split between the office (20%) and field (80%) of which 80% of your time will be selling and 20% will be managing.
You will be left on your own to deliver the sales, while we provide the highest levels of administrative support and backup for you and your team.
Field Sales Manager – The Candidate
You will be a successful direct sales field sales manager who has run a multi site operation with over 5 years sales experience preferably in B2B, but B2C will be considered. You will be a team focussed, results orientated professional with boundless energy and enthusiasm so that you can lead your team “over the top”.
You will have fantastic inter-personal skills, be able to spot winners and have the right inter-personal skills to get the best from your team. You will probably be highly perceptive as far as your team are concerned and take no nonsense as you will have the ultimate decision on hiring and firing.
You will combine these attributes with good analytical skills so that you can spot trends and opportunities and move the business forward. You will be competent with numbers and used to assessing the viability of and implementing promotions as well as handling communication with the sales team about their fortnightly commission payments.
We can base this position at either our EC1 or WD6 office depending on your preference.
Salary £25K - £40K Basic + 100% OTE commission uncapped. 4 weeks holiday rising to 6 weeks after service. Preferential rates on health care. Nice people.
