We are currently seeking to recruit a dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our current team as Salon Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in the hairdressing industry.

Job Function:
To contribute to the overall management and success of the salon by efficiently and effectively managing, motivating, developing and training team members. To be committed to continuously improving and sharing leadership and technical expertise by managing from the front.

Responsibilities:
Duties will include and not be limited to:
Manage all Stylists within the Salon environment, to coach and mentor team members.
Conduct inductions for new team members, interviews, appraisals and team briefings for your team with direct reports.
Manage client expectations, running your own column, etc.
Ensure that the Salon environment is of a high standard on a daily basis.
To manage the diary efficiently for both staff and client scheduling to produce a smooth operation.
Train and motivate team members regarding retail sales.
Meet and greet clients.
Solve complex problems that may arise on a daily basis.
To pick up mistakes that might have been overlooked by a technician.
Execute development and organizational strategies in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
To act on all customer complaints once received and to ensure that these are dealt with to the mutual satisfaction of both the client and the company.
To be fully conversant with the products and services provided by the salon, and actively promote them.
To be goal-oriented and pro-active with a relentless focus on results.
To comply with all the company rules, regulations, policies and procedures as notified from time to time.
To initiate and prepare for appraisal discussions with Directors.
To actively participate in company meetings when arranged.
Within reason from time to time you may be expected to perform duties that are not stipulated in your job description.
Technical Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Ideally completed further education.
A minimum of 3 years management experience within a hairdressing salon.
Proven ability to build a comprehensive client base.
Excellent cutting and coloring skills with comprehensive technical education.
Proven ability to consult with clients on a face to face basis and deal with day to day problems that may arrise.

Salary - £30, 000 - £40, 000 per annum based upon experience.
