Our next meeting is going to be late early-mid November in a pub around Notting Hill area

The book is Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut (1969). It may or may not be a book about a time travelling optometrists who makes contact with four-dimensional aliens from the planet Tralfamadore; I suppose we can try to work that out (or you could just read the synopsis on Wikipedia).
