We are looking for a wonderful, friendly, caring nanny to look after 2 happy and relaxed 10 month babies (one boy, one girl) 4 days per week, Tuesday- Friday, sole charge, to start early January 2010.

You would look after both babies for 3 days per week, and one baby on the fourth day.

We would also consider applications to work 3 days per week, Wed-Fri.

Normal hours would be 8.15-6.15 but with some flexibility required. Availability for additional babysitting, and to look after one baby sometimes on fifth day (Monday) would be an advantage.

We are two friendly professional couples living close to each other in Stoke Newington. Both homes are situated close to public transport, shops, parks and playgroups.

The babies are easygoing, sociable and fun to be with.

We are looking for someone who loves being with small children – we’d like to work as a team with you and hope that you’ll become a very important part of the babies’ lives.

The role would involve:
• Caring for and playing with babies, keeping them happy and stimulated;
• Taking babies to parks/playgroups/activities;
• Cooking healthy and varied meals for the babies;
• Tidying/cleaning up after babies;
• Light household duties (e.g emptying dishwasher), time permitting.

Requirements for the job are
• At least 2 years experience of caring for babies/small children;
• Fluent in English;
• Able to commit for at least 1 year;
• Live within a reasonable distance of Stoke Newington;
• Good references;
• CRB check;
• OFSTED registered (or prepared to undertake registration).
• Non-smoker;
• First aid certificate;
• Permission to work in UK.
