A lovely modern school in North London is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant immediately. They are looking for a strong TA to join the school ASAP. The school is located closely to local trains and buses and has great facilities. The staff are friendly and supportive and any necessary training will be provided.

 

The suitable Teaching Assistant will be responsible for:

·        Supporting year 2 class

·        Working on one to one and in small group basis

·        Supporting literacy and numeracy

·        Doing guided reading with the students

·        Assisting during playground and lunch time duties

·        Helping preparing teaching materials

 

The ideal candidate should:



- Have proven experience working in the school in the UK

- Supported year 2 class in the past or KS1

- Be ICT literate

- Have a good grasp of English

- Be patient and smile a lot

- Enjoy working with children
