This advert is for recent graduates in law or recent successful candidates of the MRCP diploma in medicine.

"Law and medicine" is an educational project to help encourage crosstalk between the disciplines of law and medicine.

It will be internet-based.

The website will be in two parts.

The first part is to encourage lively discussion in topical matters to do with academic medicine and law. We would like to encourage topics which cross these traditional boundaries, which are progressive but ill-defined at present, For example, ideas for future discussions include how England should progress on its national DNA database. How will NICE cope in an age of personalised medicine? At what age is a person legally 'of age'? It is therefore we have peer reviewers of high quality who will be able to peer review submissions for publication on the website, and to encourage submissions. This will be coupled with a php-based discussion forum so that members of our website can post on any topic of their choice, subject to agreed terms and conditions.

The second part of this website is to provide a set of high-quality revision notes for the MRCP and GDL examinations for medicine and law respectively. We are therefore seeking recent successful MRCP candidates and recent successful LL.B. graduates or holders of the GDL diploma to offer to write and edit teaching material for use on the website.
