We are launching two new entrepreneurial operations and the most pressing projects are:

1. Logo design and branding. We won’t be re-inventing the wheel here, there will be plenty of guidance on what looks and feels right then it will be down to you to generate a few options. Those options will then be market tested and based on the feedback, refined until we have the finished article.

2. Website design and construction. Using the brands created in the first project we will require you to build simple yet powerful websites which have a real quality feel and provide all visitors with and good and lasting impression. All content has already been created and will be provided to you in word or PDF format for you to be able to copy and paste into your masterpiece. Again you will be provided with plenty of information as to what we are looking for and examples of sites that we like.

3. Stationary and PDF brochures. This should be one of the least complex yet most important pieces of the pie. Business cards will be professionally printed and will need to be created to the appropriate spec and in the appropriate format. Letter heads will be printed in house when a letter is sent to reduce environmental impact and cost. Brochures will also be created in PDF format so they can be sent by email again to reduce the impact on the environment and our cash flow. We will however require 1x A3 size brochure which will be professionally printed with hard covers so spec and format will need to be a consideration. This will be used as a presenter for face to face meetings where required.

About you:
You will need to have your own software, a positive can do attitude, aptitude for creative design and ability to execute instructions. You don’t need to be able to deliver every piece of the puzzle. If you specialise in web design but not branding or vice versa then please do still apply this work does not need to be let as one contract. Examples of previous pieces of work will be requested (these can be college projects) and if you are able to, then please include them with your application.

Age, race, sex, orientation, beliefs, height, weight, disabilities and experience are unimportant (to this role) what really matters is your ability to understand the brief and generate solid pieces of functional design.

In the first instance please submit an outline CV or executive summary of what you have done in terms of education and work experience, the software you know how to operate and what you think you would bring to these projects. It really doesn’t need to be war and piece just the important stuff that is relevant to the work outlined above.
