We are a cultural group in Ireland doing two short DVDs which have as a background Irish cultural connections, including those with SE Asia. We need a volunteer Hindi-speaker to translate/read out a text (c15 mins) into a digital recorder and e-mail the files to us. We have the text already read out in Irish, German, Farsi, French and English. THe overall project is unique and very worthwhile.
You may know that Irish and Hindi are Indo-European languages which maintain the grammar, not just vocabulary. Gaelic Gods mirror Hindu Gods and our people in Mayo still call a fearful rock stack off the coaast 'An Chailleach (Kali)'.
