An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified teacher of Mathematics to join this small and friendly pupil referral unit from January 2009. The school is looking for an experienced teacher who will have day to day pastoral and teaching responsibility for a small group of ten young people. You will be an enthusiastic, motivated and creative teacher to develop assessment and teaching programmes for these students at Key Stage 4.

Applications are invited from qualified British trained and oversea trained teacher with QTS. The SLT are happy to consider applications from teachers who are considering the career move into SEN from mainstream. The school is seeking colleagues with the motivation to develop skills in working with young people aged 11-16 years who have complex behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour. This position will commence from January 2010 initially on a long term basis with a view to appointing the right candidate on a permanent basis.
