Due to the pending retirement of the current SENCO the school is looking to appoint a dynamic, unswerving and experienced SENCO from January 2010. You will be required to lead a very successful Learning Support Department, with a team of 10 well experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants.
The school is looking for a candidate with vast experience of a wide range of complex special educational needs, a skilled leader and someone with a distinct sense of purpose.
If you have the experience of leading a professional team of achievers and you want to work in a school that is dedicated to ensuring all their pupils succeed then this could be the step for you.
The Headteacher will only be interested in candidates that have a proven track record of success, have experience in Special Needs and understands the SEN code of practice.
