Care Assistants and Support Workers Training
City GATE Training Centre is launching new training course which will help people to get into care assistant/support workers jobs.
Course duration is two days of intensive-interactive theory training from 9am to 5pm (volunteer work placement available up on request).
Course contents
1. Overview of the Common Induction Standards (as set out by the Skills for Care Council)
2. Health and Safety
3. Moving and Handling
4. Food Hygiene
5. Fire Safety Awareness
6. Basic First Aid Awareness
Certificates issued at the end of training:
