London flatshare - double rooms - south
Double room for rent in a spacious Victorian house near Southfields tube station (£600 pcm)
A big old Victorian house in a very quiet road two minutes walk from Southfields tube station. The house has four, well lit double bedrooms and we keep an additional single bedroom as a spare room. All of the communal space is furnished (reasonably traditionally), there being a living room, dining room (with french windows opening out into the garden), kitchen, breakfast room, toilet, bathroom and shower room. The rooms have high-celings, ornate coving for the most part, and original wooden flooring. Southfields has everything in terms of local amenities, all within short walking distance, and fortunately has maintained much of it's character; many of the shops, such as the butchers, are still locally owned and run. Wimbledon Park, a spacious public park with a lake, wooded area, tennis courts, sports pitches and rose garden is within 3 minutes walk. Bus routes to Putney, Clapham Junction, and Trafalgar Square are also all within a short walk.
We're all pretty accomodating people, wanting to enjoy communal living, grow more of our own vegetables and encourage eachother through life.
