Au pair Mum's help needed in Redbridge, Essex
Hello
We are a friendly, loving family of 5, looking for a warm, caring and enthusiastic Au pair / Mum's help who loves children to become part of our family and help to look after our 3 children.
We live in Redbridge Essex, approx a 5 mins walk from Redbridge or Gants Hill Central Line stations (zone 4) and a short bus ride from Ilford town centre and mainline station.
Our family:
* We have 3 children - son age 5, daughter age 2 and another son age 1
* All of the children are very loving and sociable.
* Our 5 year old son goes to school every day, our 2 year old will be starting half day nursery in January and our 1 year old son loves learning by play, drawing and anything fun!. All children are very easy going and well behaved.
We are looking for:
* Someone who is kind, honest, patient and who really cares about children and loves being around them
* Someone who is reliable, organised and energetic and has experience in looking after young children
The job is a live-in position, ideally to start within the next month and we are looking for someone who can commit for a minimum of 1 year.
AUPAIR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Morning routine - getting the children dressed in the morning and breakfast
* Preparing lunch in the day for the 1 and 2 year old
* Evening - preparing family meal and also helping with bathtime.
On a daily basis:
* Developmental and stimulating learning by play with the 1 and 2 year old
* Reading, drawing etc
* Ensuring a regular schedule
* Nappy changing (for the 1 year old)
* Light housework - tidying up after the children, hoovering, ironing (weekly)
* We envisage the hours to be 8am - 7pm
* You will have evenings and weekends free with the exception of very occasional babysitting.
YOUR ROOM
* You will have your own newly decorated double room and your own shower room/wc
* Naturally you will have use of the whole house, kitchen and garden
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Non- smoker
* Child care experience
* CRB checked
* Checkable references
* Good standard English
* (There will be a probation period of 3 to 6 months)
Salary
* The salary is £75 - £100 per week (depending on experience)
