We're Hoxton Beach, and we run falafel stalls in London markets (see Youtube), cafés in two Hackney leisure centres, and sell Middle Eastern food to shops around London. We're about to return to our roots by re opening a currently unused café in a Hoxton leisure centre. The aim is to persuade hard pressed parents etc to part with a little more money than they'd spend in the vending machine for a top grade (ie Square Mile beans) but not over priced coffee, and also to sell falafel, toasties, juices and meals from our Clissold kitchen. We need someone who has solid experience in a similar operation, ideally with the Aus/NZ take on coffee, who enjoys interacting with customers, who can focus on the detail that makes food and coffee great, and who wants to roll their sleeves up and make a new venture a success. We will chiefly get back to people who take the trouble to explain why they would be right for this particular job. Pay approx £7.50 per hour depending on experience.
