YONG CHUN KUNG FU SEMINAR

This is an invitation to all UK martial artists to attend a seminar with Grandmaster Chen Qing Yun of the Yuen style of Yong Chun (Wing Chun), in Watford, UK. 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday 29th November 2009.

Grandmaster (GM) Chen represents this mainland China branch of the Wing Chun family, which separated from the Hong Kong branches of the art at the third generation. Unlike the Hong Kong lineage, GM Chen's style is largely unknown outside of China, and this is his first trip to the UK.

This seminar will be of interest to all martial artists, including existing Wing Chun practitioners seeking to explore a different branch of their art.

Outline schedule (teaching will vary depending on existing knowledge of Wing Chun, schedule subject to alteration) :

Stances, punches and blocks, Gai Boon San Sau, paired work.
Differences between Yuen Yong Chun and Yip Man styles, YC Sil Lim Tau, paired work.
Paired work around YC Chi Sau and other sensitivity excercises, Gai Boon San Sau and Sil Lim Tau, YC strategies for combat.
