Elderly and disabled client caseworker
Title: Community Care and Mental Health Solicitor/Caseworker
Hours: Initially PT 21 hours week
Salary: Basic between £17, 500 & £25, 000 plus commission of between 15% and 35% of fees.
Knowledge and experience:
Knowledge and experience of elderly client work including powers of attorney, advance directives and court of protection matters.
Knowledge of community care law as it relates to mental and physical health care. Some knowledge (or at least clear interest in) the public law aspects of community care law (ie Judicial Review work).
Some knowledge of welfare benefits, housing or special needs education work an advantage.
An ability to deal with cases in innovative and creative ways.
