The Mighty PUTNEY MAGPIES Australian Rules Football Club are now currently on the search for new footy talent especially Irish Gaelic players to get on board with the club this year.

Home grown Irish Gaelic players such as Martin Clarke (Collingwood), Tadhg Kennelly (Sydney Swans), Setanta O’hAilpin (Carlton), Colm Begley (Brisbane) have taken the Australian Rules Football League by storm so why not get on board and come see what its all about.

The Magpies host a team in each of the two divisions of the BARFL, each team involving 18 on field players plus substitution players. The season involves 12 rounds plus finals from May to August, plus a pre season round robin competition.

The average age of our player list is 26, with 20% of our club being EU based players.

Training is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm at South Park, Parsons Green.
