Care Co-Ordinator required for leading provider of domiciliary care
The post-holder's main function will be the recruitment, selection, rostering and retention of high calibre social care workers to provide a service to enable private clients and service users to remain in their own homes independently.
This will involve organising and co-ordinating recruitment campaigns locally to attract potential candidates; using ‘Best Practice’ to interview and select the right candidates; organising the necessary Induction/NVQ training for successful candidates; updating Careworker’s Manual and Computer Records accordingly; ensuring that the successful Careworker issued with Employment Contract and has the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Company’s policies and procedures and ensure that work is carried out within the recruitment guidelines as laid down by CSCI and CSCW. Post-recruitment, the Co-Ordinator will be required to match client/service user needs using our rostering system, ensure that assignments and conditions are approved by both care worker and client, communicate information between all parties clearly and effectively and take part in on call cover as per team requirements , working hard to oversee the satisfactory maintenance of care worker and client relationships.
