This outstanding London based Secondary School is looking for an experienced Teacher of History to start with them from January. There is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate from September 2010. You will be required to History KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 eventually, a strong knowledge of British History is a must for this post.

The department is vibrant, friendly and committed so the right person fit is essential, they are only looking for teachers wanting to commit to the school on a long-term basis and someone that will involve themselves in extracurricular activities.

This is an extremely high academically achieving school and has had a recent ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report. They commended the amount of support and personal guidance given to and by the staff and on the schools over all impressive facilities; the school is very well resourced.

Each teacher must be able to upkeep the high standards and procedures of the school. National curriculum knowledge must be very strong.
