If you love playing a mix of piano and that classic Hammond sound, and you love playing with excellent musicians who play for the song, then you might be interested in coming along and seeing if this is for you. If you can sing harmonies too, even better - we might even buy you a coffee as well then!

Influences include classic British 60's sound (Kinks, Beatles, Stones etc), West Coast US sound (Eagles, Jackson Browne, etc), and acts such as The Jam, Elvis Presley (especially 69-72), Counting Crows, The Cure, Elvis Costello, Crowded House...trying to think of a band not beginning with a 'c'... Neil Young, motown stuff.... but with a modern twist, especially in the lyrics.

We're looking for someone who loves playing, and is obviously good. There isn't money in this for us at the moment, certainly not enough to live on, so any prospective member must need to be financially sorted in their own right outside of the band. We are ambitious but mostly we want to all put our individual skills into a team situation, have loads of fun and make the best music we can. That is the key thing.

In the next 12 months we're looking to put together new songs, in which you would definitely be needed to write your own keyboard parts and have general input. We want to continue to play the good gigs we've had and improve on these, and we would want to record and release something. There are a couple of other exciting possibilities, but first of all we want to get the keyboard player who is right both in terms of personality and ability, and obviously dedication. You would also need to partake in banter... :)
