A small but well-known Multicultural Newspaper with more than 17 years in the U.K. is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join to its fast expanding sales team.

We belong to the Latin-American, Portuguese and Spanish communities… We belong to all of those who want a different way to make multicultural journalism in Britain. We have a circulation of over 40,000 copies nationwide and also have an online edition. But our aim is to expand the number of readers and seduce those English speakers that have a special interest in multicultural affairs and want to strength links with various communities.

After almost two decades, we want a new beginning, new content, concepts, and design to give a fresh start to this newspaper. We want to make it one of the best multicultural (bilingual) media proposals in the UK.

It is definitely an exciting opportunity for those who have got drive and ambition, who are creative, highly motivated self-starters with excellent organizational skills, with a desire to win, very strong pitching and closing skills.

Spanish speakers and bilingual English speakers are more than welcome.

SKILLS REQUIRED.

1. Excellent spoken and written English (for the British Market)
2. Excellent spoken and written Spanish (for the Latin and Spanish Market).
3. Experience of selling advertising face to face and by telephone
4. Effective Communicator

8. Good lead sourcing abilities
9. Ability to work on own initiative

11. Good pitching skills

16. Proven track record in sales (preferably in print media but not essential)

THE ROLE

1. Pitching and selling advertising/ advertorial space to UK media agencies and direct clients. (Run of Page, Classifieds and Recruitment etc. for the newspaper)
2. Creating new relationships with media buyers.
3. Identifying new sources of revenue and pursuing any potential leads

SALARY... The best!

We don't have basic salary. However, we have the best commission rate in the British market.

1. Flat rate of 30% commission on all deals!
2. Bonuses
3. Print and Online Advertising space
4. Self Employed

A successful candidate may be considered for a full time permanent position following the internship.
