Hosting Systems Engineer, Networks Engineer, Server Engineer

Excellent salary

A hardware engineer required in an insurance company based in West London. Our network is based on server 2008 running windows 2003/2008. Your role will cover the following technical aspects of our network and services:

Duties include :

- Server setup and maintenance for entire company based on 60+ users
- Shared Web Hosting
- Mail exchange servers
- Backup strategies for entire server
- Full documentation preparation

Hosting Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Server Engineer Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar focused role
* Experience of planning and implementing security policies across networks
* Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and network management
* Dell product working experience and/or DCSP qualification is advantage
* Fully conversant with routing and the management of networks
* Perform out of hours support as required and commitment to weekend/overnight hours
* Excellent customer service ethics
* Familiarity with server hardware
* Ability to diagnostic the hardware fault and possibly replace the failed hardware parts in our Data Centre
* Provide solutions for sales team ranging from complex web hosting to multiple server/collocation projects
* Able to start asap
