We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team here at the 5 star London Marriott West India Quay.

The London Marriott West India Quay consists of 301 stylish guest rooms and suites and 47 contemporary luxury serviced apartments.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Floor Supervisor to make a positive addition to the Housekeeping team here at the 5 Star London Marriott West India Quay Hotel and Executive Apartments.

Reporting directly to the Director of Services, Floor Supervisors are responsible for assigning and supervising the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure a high degree of excellence and maintenance in guest rooms, suites, corridors, fire exits, stairways, service areas and service rooms on assigned areas and floors and ensure that the standards of the Marriott Brand are fulfilled.

We are looking for an experienced housekeeping professional with exposure to supervising housekeeping teams in five star hotels. Ideal candidates will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, and have a high level of assertiveness and confidence to lead and manage a team, and monitor their development.

Knowledge of IT systems and processes is desirable, such as MS Office; previous knowledge of hospitality systems such as Fidelio and Opera is essential.

Working to maintain the high standards within the hotel, candidates must have excellent attention to detail and have strong decision making skills, as well as being proactive, reliable and flexible enough to work shifts. Candidates should be fully aware of health and safety issues on the workplace and how to minimise potential risks.

All candidates MUST have valid permission to live and work in the United Kingdom, and must be able to demonstrate this proof upon interview.

We also require 2 references from candidates which must be provided upon interview.
