GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a one-of-a-kind original wire bonsai, constructed from loosely twisted Silver craft wire.
The majority of the branches are finished with 4mm, 6mm and 8mm Glass crystals. The crystals are a combination of AB coated and uncoated glass. (AB stands for ‘Aurora Borealis,’ a special coating that is applied to half the surface of the glass bead which produces a sparkling effect, depending on the light refraction.)
This particular wire was used for its ageing properties, which should add to the bonsai aesthetic value after time. It stands approx 11cm - 12cm tall on a shallow black rustic clay bonsai dish 10cm in diameter. This Glass Crystal tree measures approx 13cm - 14cm at its widest point.
A brief look at CRYSTALS
Crystals or diamonds are also known as 'the Stones of Innocence'. They are the birthstone for April, and have been a traditional symbol of love since ancient Greece. They also Symbolises peace, fidelity, innocence, and serenity. It was once believed that diamonds endowed the wearer with the ability to charm and enchant at will.
