Parking Design Engineer
£18 to £25phr (Ltd)

This London based Transportation Consultancy is looking for Parking design engineers to assist in the delivery of parking schemes for a number of their London based local authority clients.

You will be expected to identify and applying appropriate methodologies and standards to programmed parking projects and to produce effective and innovative solutions to day to day parking issues.

Successful candidates will be expected to undertake the following:

• Liaise with members of public, committee members and other departments to understand parking issues.
• Site visits to identify parking problems
• Managing parking surveys and associated data analysis
• Preliminary & detailed design (area based schemes and individual projects)
• Public consultation
• Committee meetings to discuss parking proposals.

Personal Spec:

Must have previous parking design experience including use of Park Map/ Map Info
Must be able to work in a team environment and work under own initiative
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage his/her time well
