Leading City law firm has an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Immigration Paralegal to join them for a 6-12 month contract. Reporting to a leading partner in the area, this is an great role within a great firm.
Day to day duties will include the following:

Maintaining correspondence with clients and authorities
· Drafting Work permits – business and commercial, sports and entertainment, and training and work experience (i.e: new recruits, board level relocations, intra company transfers, extensions and change of employer applications).
· Providing advice to individual categories:
· Highly skilled migrants.
· High net worth individuals – advice in relation to entering the UK as investors and retired persons of independent means.
· Entrepreneurs, highly skilled migrants and innovators.
· Indefinite leave to remain and naturalisation.
· Entry requirements for spouses and dependants.
· Permit free categories of employment in the UK.
· Appeals against work permits (UK) and Home Office decisions.
· The scope of business visitor categories.
· Obtaining work permissions or visas for employees.
· Entry requirements for spouses and dependants.
· Rights of free movement within Europe under the European Treaty and application for European citizens in the UK.
· Schengen (business) visa applications in Europe.
· The scope of business visitor categories.
· Residence permit and in country registration requirements.

At least 12 months experience within Corporate Immigration

We would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
