We’ve asked some Poi and Diablo experts to come down and join us all on the Common and show us lots of tricks. Cole and Andy are super good at what they do and will be around to show you the secrets of their skills. Here’s some info about them:

POI PERFORMER - Cole Walker

Cole is renowned as one the best technical poi spinners in the London poi spinning community. He's been spinning poi for over 7 years and has been teaching for 5 years. Cole has lead several poi technique master classes at the European Juggling Convention, British Juggling Convention, Uberpoi Edinburgh and Play Festival as well as teaching children for after school activities. Cole possesses a natural ability to make poi accessible, fun and motivating!

DIABLO PERFORMER - Andy Dinsdale

Andy (aka Andy Bosco, Bosco the Clown & Bosco the Jester) has introduced a wide range of Community & Circus Arts with his shows, workshops and walkabouts to many people since 1985. His gentle persuasion through laughter, participation, and his mistakes (and some skills!), has made circus skills available to all ages & abilities. He is also a Circus Animateur (gets people up and doing things!). Specialities include juggling, spinning plates, diabolo, devil sticks, stilt walking, bubbles (giant ones!), trust & coordination games, environmental games, parachute games. His diabolo skills include the usual array of single diabolo tricks (from high throw to arm wraps), as well as two diabolos and Chinese spinning top diabolos. He has been teaching circus skills in very diverse events, ranging from management training to festivals (sometimes in mud!), prisons to hospitals, adult education to schools.
